Privacy Policy for Birdstrike!

Birdstrike! is a casual mobile game developed by Overstruck UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how Birdstrike! handles information when you use the app.
Birdstrike! is designed for players aged 13 and older.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Birdstrike! does not require an account, login, registration, name, email address, or profile.
We do not directly collect personal information through the app.
The app stores only the following information locally on your device:
- your high score; and
- whether you have purchased the Remove Ads in-app purchase.
This information is stored on your device and is used only to provide the game's functionality.
2. ADVERTISING
Birdstrike! uses Google AdMob to show advertisements. AdMob may collect and process information from your device in order to show ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, only non-personalised ads are shown. These ads are not based on your personal profile or browsing history.
Outside those regions, personalised ads may be shown based on your device's advertising identifier and settings.
On iOS devices outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the app will ask for your permission to access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you do not grant this permission, only non-personalised ads will be shown. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Tracking.
Residents of certain US states (including California, Virginia, and Colorado) may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for advertising purposes. Where this right applies, a "Manage Ad Preferences" option is available in the settings.
You can also limit personalised advertising through your device settings (iOS: Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Tracking; Android: Settings -> Security & privacy -> Privacy controls -> Ads).

3. IN-APP PURCHASES
Birdstrike! offers an optional in-app purchase called Remove Ads. This purchase removes ads from the app.
Payments are processed by the platform from which you downloaded the app, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

4. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Birdstrike! stores the high score and ad-free purchase status locally on your device.
If you delete the app, this locally stored information may be deleted from your device, depending on your device and operating system behavior.
5. DATA SHARING
We do not sell personal information.
We do not directly share personal information with third parties. However, third-party services integrated into the app, such as Google AdMob, may collect and process data as described in their own privacy policies.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Birdstrike! is intended for users aged 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@overstruck.net, and we will take appropriate action.
7. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Birdstrike! may be used worldwide, including in the European Union and the United States.
Where required by applicable law, users may have rights regarding their personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, object to, or restrict certain processing of personal data.
Because Birdstrike! does not directly collect account information or personal details, most privacy-related requests concerning advertising or payments may need to be directed to the relevant third-party provider, such as Google, Apple, or Google Play.

8. YOUR CHOICES
You can limit or control certain data uses through your device settings, including advertising personalization settings.
Depending on your device and region, you may be able to:
- reset or limit your advertising ID;
- manage personalized ads;
- adjust app tracking permissions;
- withdraw or change advertising consent where available; and
- purchase Remove Ads to disable ads in Birdstrike!.
9. DATA RETENTION
Birdstrike! does not maintain user accounts or our own user database.
The high score and ad-free purchase status are stored locally on your device for as long as the app remains installed or until they are removed by the operating system, app reset, or deletion.
Third-party providers such as Google, Apple, and Google Play may retain information according to their own privacy policies.
10. SECURITY
We aim to use services and platform mechanisms that are appropriate for a casual mobile game. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of Birdstrike! after changes means that the updated Privacy Policy applies.
